This is one we’re personally booking for later this summer. Imagine, spending a week sailing with 3-4 other couples and crew, gourmet food, tropical drinks, sailing a couple hours after breakfast, a couple hours after lunch and then anchoring in a secluded caye for the night. When not sailing you can beach comb, snorkel, scuba, fish, relax on the deck, even water ski. All in all, a fantastic, luxury vacation for two. And Belize isn’t the only destination for this vendor, they sail from multiple different locations in the Caribbean. There is also another tour operator of luxury Catamaran Cruises in the database, so you’re not even limited to a single tour operator.
One thing to note here is this is one of the “all inclusive” properties, some are optional, this one is mandatory so the total cost of the week is in addition to the weekly rate of $299, when you add back the all inclusive part of the trip that you pay directly to the operator and not thru the site, the trip comes to $2196.50 which is a savings over the broker quoted price ($3750) of $1553.50.
And I need to note here that when we originally were considering this cruise, we got quoted the peak season rate of $4950 and the same CSB Week rate of $299 so the savings off the peak rate was $2,750 an even more impressive savings. Still, saving $1500+ is more than 3x the cost of our CSB Lifetime Travel Membership. To say we are thrilled at the savings and so looking forward to our trip is an understatement.

Searching a prime vacation time in November finds a CSB Weeks cost of $399 and adding back the mandatory all-inclusive, $2639 thru CSB. The same time frame from several internet sources averages $2835 (but does not include taxes), a savings of $196 excluding taxes. And while this isn’t a ton of savings, when you call the vendor to confirm and pay for the all inclusive portion, several CSB members have reported receiving an additional discount on the all inclusive portion too.
The exciting thing here is this is a 5-star resort property and the CSB Database includes accommodations for from 2-8 people, all at $399 plus all-inclusive cost. What this means is that if you’re taking a family vacation and book the larger accommodation (8 people and 3 bedrooms), you’ll be saving far more because your accommodation cost of $399 isn’t increasing, while on the internet sources, it is.
For example, take a family vacation for 8 adults. With Club Sea Breeze that is $160/day x 8 people and 8 days all inclusive plus the accommodations rate of $399 or a total of $10,639 and the average internet rate of $304/person/day for 8 days amounts to $$19,456 and that is if you can find a quote. Point being with a family the savings is dramatic.

Additional Information: There is a $55 housekeeping fee for points reservations made for less than seven nights. This fee is subject to change. The resort enforces the 1 in 4 year travel rule for weeks exchanges. Contact the resort in advance regarding handicapped facilities. There is a fee to use the wireless internet service in the villas. All Villas at Summer Bay Resort are air- conditioned and have a full gourmet kitchen with microwave oven and washer/ dryer. The buildings have 3 floors and an elevator. There are no balconies with these villas. The size of the villa is relatively small (838 Sq. Ft.). 2BR units OCC: Max 6/Pri 4 have 2 baths, 1 king bed, 1 double bed and 1 queen sleep sofa. *Villas are assigned upon arrival.* Summer Bay Resort offers various accommodations to upgrade if available for a fee. A security deposit of US$150 is required. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to register. *No pets allowed on property.* A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area. Summer Bay Resort’s shopping center is located on property with a grocery store, pizza shop, library and more. Summer Bay Resort offers free air conditioned shuttle transportation to transfer guests to the several locations on the 365 acre resort. For a US$10-$14 round trip fee per person, the resort offers shuttles to Sea World, Universal, other attractions and shopping centers. There is a fee to use the wireless internet service in the villas.
This search is for accommodations for a party of 6 people and shows the premium summer rate since this is located so close Disney, Sea World, etc. and when the high season rate drops, $750 or $299 for the entire week for up to 6 people. Clicking on the photo above and left opens a new window and “Trip Advisor” search for this property and will show typical rates for 1 BR at $950 and 2BR at $1120 for either time period.
Obviously if you wait until the lower season you will save more, however even going high season you will save between $200 and $370 with your Club Sea Breeze Travel Membership and perhaps these savings are not “earth shattering”, but remember, your CSB Membership is a lifetime benefit and you will be experiencing these savings each time you use it.
